PHILADELPHIA — The Phillies were away in New York City this weekend, where the won the series against the Yankees, so Citizens Bank Park hosted another kind of baseball.
The Savannah Bananas tour came to the Bank Saturday, and the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball hosted a special guest: competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut.
Chestnut teamed up with Aramark Sports + Entertainment on Saturday night for a one-of-a-kind surprise culinary feat, setting a brand-new Banana Dog eating record during live game action at the Savannah Bananas tour stop.
