Man, 93, Found Dead With Cuts To Chest, Head: Philly Police

The man's death is considered suspicious due to lacerations on his chest and head, and belonging missing from his residence, police said.

PHILADELPHIA — The death of a 93-year-old man in Philadelphia is under investigation after authorities said he was found with cuts and his belongings were missing.

Philadelphia Police at about 2:58 p.m. Friday were called to a home on the 4500 block of N. 16th Street.

There, they found the victim, a 93-year-old black man, unresponsive with lacerations to his chest and head.

He was pronounced dead at 3:05 p.m.

The man's wallet, car keys, and his vehicle were missing from his residence, police said.

Investigators are looking for a White 2007 Chrysler 300 with Pennsylvania Tag GRJ-5294.
