PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man was pronounced dead Tuesday night after a shooting in West Philadelphia, police said.

Police responded to the 300 block of North Gross Street a little after 8:30 p.m. and said a 37-year-old man was shot once in the head and once in the stomach.
The 37-year-old man was taken to Lankenau Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead right before 9 p.m.
