Man Sought For 9 Commercial Burglaries In Philadelphia

Police are looking for Marcos Neto, who is sought for burglaries on Feb. 15, May 5​, May 7​, May 10​, May 24​, May 25​, and May 26.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding two men they said are responsible for nine commercial burglaries.

Authorities said Marcos Neto is wanted for burglaries on Feb. 15, May 5, May 7, May 10, May 24, May 25, and May 26. A second suspect is also being sought, but has not been identified, police said.

Neto is possibly in the area of Castor and Levick Streets, and is believed to be traveling primarily on foot during the night, police said.

He has several distinctive tattoos on his right hand as well as his neck area.

In several video depictions of commercial burglaries, the suspect is seen hiding his right hand.

Anyone who sees Neto should not approach him and instead call 911 immediately.

Below is information on the specific incidents:


On Feb. 15, at 4:19 a.m., Philadelphia Police responded to Royal Car Center, 3950 E. Roosevelt Boulevard, for a report of a person with a weapon.

Officers saw the side glass window of the business was broken.

A keyholder arrived and said the suspect was captured on security cameras entering and removing three iPhones, which were not traceable.


On May 5, at 7:31 a.m., Philadelphia Police were called to the Northeast Community Auto Center at 6101 Roosevelt Boulevard for a report of a burglary.

An employee met police and told them an unknown person was captured on security cameras climbing through a second-floor window of the business and attempting to gain access to a locked office.

While securing the property, officers found several spent shell casings in the business's lobby, as well as damage to the front window.

Police said camera footage captures the suspect at 1 a.m. trying to get into the office by using a shovel.

After failing, the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired shots at the window before fleeing out the second-floor window.

Police said the suspect used his left hand to fire the gun.


On May 7, 2025, at 3:45 a.m., police were called to the Guardo Body Shop at 1123 Adams Ave. for a burglar alarm activation.

Officers found the rear door forced open and a broken second-floor window.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect walking through the business and removing a rivet tool.

Police said the suspect, who was holding a black handgun in his left hand, went to a factory inside the business before leaving in an unknown manner and direction.

The suspect returned to the same business on May 10 and forced his way in through the back door.

He then stole three buffer machines, police said.


At about 5:09 a.m. May 24, police said someone kicked in the front glass door of King’s Deli.

After getting inside, the suspect damaged cash register and took lottery tickets.


The owner of the recycling company, located at 2251 Fraley St., arrived at his business at approximately 5:30 a.m. on May 25 and found an someone forced open a wall to the business and ransacked the office.

Police said two cell phones were stolen. One phone was found near the exit, and another cell phone that does not belong to the victim was found in the driveway.

Investigators also found a Toyota Prius, with the rear passenger window shattered and the interior ransacked, parked nearby.

Brown gloves, possibly worn by the offender, were found inside the vehicle and recovered.

Police said the suspect was armed with a black handgun during the incident.


Also on May 25, police said were called to Christian Auto, 5011 Torresdale Ave., for a report of a burglary.

Police spoke with the owner, who said he had surveillance footage from 1:30 a.m. that showed an unknown man in a blue jacket and light-colored pants throwing a rock through his business window.

The suspect got into the building, but did not take anything, police said.


A third incident on May 25 happened at Yafro Towing, 5612 Tulip St.,

Police were called to the business for a report of burglary.

A witness told police he locked the business at 11 p.m. May 24, and that when he returned at 9 a.m. May 25, the front door was broken into and several tools and pieces of equipment were missing.


Lastly, at 11:48 p.m. on May 26, police were called to J & M Windows & Doors at 4302 Roosevelt Boulevard for a burglary in progress.

Officers found the gate cut open and a vehicle with a broken driver’s side window.

Police looked around the area for a suspect, but did not find anyone.

A witness said he observed a male cut the fence and leave the property with a large box.
