New Footage Of Philly Rec Center Shooting Suspect Released
The suspect was wearing dark blue shorts, white socks, white sneakers, and a Nike backpack. He had a white tank top on after the shooting.
PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia have released more footage of the rec center shooting that hurt four kids and an adult Wednesday. Authorities also provided details on one of the suspects.
The shooting happened at about 4:05 p.m. Wednesday at 56th and Christian streets near the Christy Rec Center. Police said about 75 people were in the rec center's pool when the shooting happened.
Shot were a 10-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl, two 16-year-old boys, and a 32-year-old man, police said.

The 10- and 11-year-old kids are in stable condition at CHOP.
Police said one teen is in stable condition, while the other is in critical condition. Both were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

The adult, a city worker, suffered a graze wound to his hand and is in stable condition.
Video showed one suspect running from the area, heading east on Christian Street towards 55th Street. He was tracked to an alley located on the 800 block of South 55th Street, where he took off his durag and black T-shirt. He was last seen trying to get on a SEPTA trolley at 55th Street and Baltimore Avenue.
Police described the suspect as a black male, 15 to 18 years old, who was wearing a white tank top after the shooting, dark blue shorts, high white socks, white sneakers, shoulder-length dreadlocks with frosted tips, and a black Nike backpack.
No arrests have been made, and no motive has been identified.
