Person Fatally Struck By SEPTA Train Thursday Morning: Reports

PHILADELPHIA — A man died after being struck by a SEPTA train on the Broad Street Line Thursday morning, according to the transit authority and reports.

SEPTA said a person was struck by a train at the Fern Rock Transit Center at about 6:09 a.m.

Action News reports the person, a man, was trying to change cars when he slipped and fell from the train.

The victim was only identified as being 68 years old, according to Fox 29.
