Phanatic 2nd 'Hottest' Mascot In MLB, Website Says
The Phanatic is one of the "hottest behind-the-scenes" figures in the MLB, and Manager Rob Thompson was also among the "hottest."

PHILADELPHIA — It's no secret the Phillie Phanatic is a cherished mascot the nation over.
Earlier this year, he was named the best mascot (and simultaneously the most intimidating mascot) in the MLB. And in 2023, he was named a top 10 MLB mascot.
Now, the Phanatic can add a new, steamy superlative to his growing laurels.

BetUS said he is the second "sexiest" mascot in the MLB.
The betting website measured personality traits, the Golden Ratio (which measures facial proportions and symmetry), job title, search volume, and social following to determine its ranks of the hottest behind-the-scenes MVPs of the MLB.

While the list is not all mascots, two mascots topped it, with the Phanatic at No. 2.
The Phanatic touts 226,000 followers on Instagram and has a 33,100 search volume, according to BetUS.
The No. 1 mascot? Arizona Diamondbacks' Baxter.
The Phanatic beat out Chicago Cubs mascot Clark the Cub, who was No. 3 on the list.
Rosie Red of the Cincinnati Reds was No. 4 and Mr. and Mrs. Met were tied for No. 5 in the sexiest mascots list.
And not to be outdone, Phillies Manager Rob Thompson was named the second-sexiest manager in the league.
Los Angeles Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts was No. 1, Terry Francona of the Reds No. 3, San Francisco Giants Manager Bruce Bochy No. 4, and Diamondbacks Manager Torey Lovullo No. 5.
