Philadelphia is the country's ninth most stressed city, according to a new report.

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia is the country's ninth "most stressed" city, according to a new report from WalletHub.

To determine the cities where Americans cope best, WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across 41 key metrics. The data set ranges from COVID-19 cases to average weekly work hours to divorce and suicide rates.

WalletHub looked at work stress, financial stress, family stress and health & safety stress.

Here's where Philadelphia ranked across the key metrics:

  • Work stress: 2
  • Financial stress: 40
  • Family stress: 50
  • Health & safety stress: 46

Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the highest levels of stress.

The report determined each city's weighted average across all metrics to calculate its overall score.

Here's where Philadelphia ranked:

  • Traffic congestions: 2nd
  • Poverty rate: 26th
  • Divorce rate: 39th
  • Percent of Adults in fair/poor health: 28th
  • Job security: 20th
  • Percent of adults with inadequate sleep: 6th
  • Average daily COVID-19 cases in the past week per capita: 96th
  • Percent of residents who are fully vaccinated: 78th
