Professional Boxer Danny Garcia and Retailer DTLR Treat Local Philly Youth to Private Shopping Experience

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, 12 pre-selected children received a one-of-a-kind shopping experience with the world champion boxer

On Saturday, Oct. 11, DTLR, a lifestyle retailer with over 420 stores in 26 states, partnered with Philadelphia’s own professional boxer Danny Garcia to give 12 local children a memorable day of shopping and mentorship.

The children, pre-selected from Juniata Recreation Center, enjoyed a private shopping experience alongside Garcia, who helped them pick out new apparel and sneakers at the DTLR store on E. Hunting Park Ave. The event aims to give back to local youth and highlight Hispanic cultural pride, resilience, and community connection.

This initiative is part of DTLR’s commitment to uplifting the youth community. In addition to this partnership, the retailer leads numerous programs throughout the year – from toy drives to collaborations with artists and athletes – that enrich the lives of families in cities across the country.
