Son Fatally Stabbed Father In Philadelphia: Report

PHILADELPHIA — A man was fatally stabbed Tuesday night in Philadelphia, and a news report says it was his son who was the assailant.

Police were called to the 4800 block of North Ninth Street at about 7:23 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.

A man in that area was stabbed multiple times, police said.

He was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where he died at 8:22 p.m.

Action News reports the victim, 42, was stabbed to death by his son, 21. Their identities were not released.

Police did recover a weapon at the scene, but have not made any arrests.
