- Health officials say that North Philadelphia residents living near the junkyard that caught fire Tuesday and was reported in yesterday's Patch no longer have to worry about chemical exposure. The Philadelphia Health Department says crews did not find any significant levels of toxic compounds. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. (CBS Philly)
- A 20-year-old Philadelphia man is facing federal charges after a carjacking earlier this month. On Sep. 19 on Maxwell place, a woman started her car using an app before emerging with her daughter. Amir Harvey approached, pointed a gun at them, and took her keys before driving away. (WPVI-TV)
- A 14-year-old boy is being charged with the shooting of a SEPTA Market-Frankford Line train around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. After the teen got off at the Tioga station, he pulled a gun and shot two rounds at the train. Although people were on the train, no one was struck. (Philadelphia Patch)
