Traffic Moving On I-95 South After Truck Fire

PHILADELPHIA — Traffic is flowing again on Interstate 95 south in Philadelphia after a trash truck fire.

The incident started at about 12:30 p.m. on I-95 south between the I-95 North/TRENTON and Cottman Avenue/Rhawn Street exits, according to officials.

Video from traffic cameras showed a trash truck smoldering along the highway.

Traffic on I-95 south was backed up considerably due to the Philadelphia Fire Department's response to the blaze.

Cameras at about 2:30 p.m. showed traffic moving and all lanes open again.

There is no word on what caused the fire or if anyone was hurt.
