PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter lost the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year Award to Houston's Will Anderson on Thursday night at the NFL Honors show in Las Vegas.

Carter was a finalist for the award with Anderson, Seattle's Devon Witherspoon, Pittsburgh's Joey Porter Jr. and Los Angeles' Kobie Turner.
