Chesco Under Flood Watch Tuesday Morning

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —Chester County is expected to be under flood watch from early Tuesday morning through Wednesday night, according to the Chester County emergency services.

Chester County is expected to receive 2 to 3 inches of rain during the 48 hours, with heavy rains Tuesday night.

Emergency officials said that Chester County is at risk for flooding because the ground is saturated from the weekend snow and rain.

Wind gusts are expected to reach 40 to 50 miles per hour, with the strongest winds predicted Tuesday night.

The Chester County Emergency Management Division will continue to monitor the situation.
