Contortionist Plans to Twist Way Into Record Books in Phoenixville
Jonathan Burns will attempt to break an unusual world record while on stage at the Colonial Theatre Saturday night.
Hundreds of people have gone to great lengths to make it into the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records, such as growing incredibly long fingernails or holding their breath underwater for a dangerous amount of time. While it may not be as risky, Jonathan Burns’ attempt planned Saturday night at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville will certainly be memorable.
The contortionist will use his extra-bendy body to try breaking the record for “Fastest Time To Pass Through a Toilet Seat Three Times.” The current record is held by a contortionist from Turkey, but Burns hopes to bring the record to America.
Burns’s world record attempt will be featured at the 2nd Annual One Night Only Comedy & Variety Festival at the Colonial Theatre on Saturday, May 16 at 8 p.m.. The show features a wide of array of entertainers from stand-up comedians to sword swallowers.
