Patch provides some options to order food for your Thanksgiving feast, including fresh turkeys.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —There is still time to order a fresh turkey raised in Chester County and homemade side dishes for your Thanksgiving feast on Nov. 23.

Options include natural turkeys, which are minimally processed without artificial ingredients, and organic turkeys, which are fed solely organic feeds.

  • Howe Farm, 152 Culbertson Run Road, Downingtown. (610 384–5508). howefarm@gmail.com. The Howe farm comes from a long line of farmers passionate about raising turkeys since 1988. The farm has sold over 90,000 turkeys. The farm has breasts from eight to 14 pounds and full turkeys from 10 to 30 pounds.
  • Foresta’s Market, 1098 W. Bridge St. Phoenixville. (610-935-1777) www.forstasmarket .com. A butcher and market that provides fresh turkey, all-natural, from the Jaindl family. The turkeys are eight to 32 pounds. Sides and desserts are also available.
  • Kimberton Whole Foods, 2140 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville. (610-935-1444) Also at 429 E. King Road, Malvern. (484-324-2800) Fresh organic turkeys from Koch Turkey Farm, Tamaqua are available. Pick up turkeys before Monday, Nov. 20. Butternut squash soup, orange sage roasted beets, green beans almondine, mac and cheese, gravy, cranberry sauce, and corn casseroles are also available. Organic turkeys are $4.99 a pound and natural turkeys are $399 a pound, Turkeys range in size from 8 to 25 pounds. Pre-orders are available online here.

The bakery holiday menu includes pumpkin pie, dutch apple pie, coconut custard pies, blueberry pie, apple/cranberry pie donuts, bread, and a croissant tray.
