Get Your First Look Inside the New Borough Hall

It's a chance to see what your tax dollars have paid for.

The new Phoenixville Borough Hall will be open for tours on Friday night.

Moving day was August 12 and the Borough Council held its first meeting in the new council chambers on August 13.  At that meeting the council voted have the official ribbon cutting this Friday to coincide with the September First Friday events on Bridge and Main Street.

On the outside, the new Borough Hall features a much larger parking lot including two electric car recharging parking spaces.  Inside the Police station is housed on the first floor, off the Main Lobby, just to the left of the front doors.

Most of the administrative offices are on the second floor. That's also where you can pay municipal bills (not traffic citations-that's next door at district court) and get information.

The Borough Council Chambers are on the third floor. There are two main public elevators right as you walk in the main building lobby.

The building will be officially opened with a public ribbon cutting on Friday evening at 6 p.m..
