Health Inspections In Phoenixville Area In October

The Chester County Health Department inspected restaurants and other eateries in the Phoenixville area in October.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Health inspectors paid visits to numerous establishments in the Phoenixville area in October.

Inspectors found some establishments to be in violation of health codes set by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

  • Cafe Com Leite, 117 S. Main St.: 5 violations: dust on hood covers, grease under fryers, dirty dishes, mold in ice machine, empty paper towel dispenser.
  • Vintner’s Table By Folino Estate, 135 Bridge St.: four violations: single-use items stored on the floor in the hallway, unsanitized dishwashers, hand wash sink blocked, Chemical spray bottles hanging on hand sink.
  • Spring Mill Senior Living, 3000 Balford Circle, six violations: chemical spray on storage shelf with clean equipment, water and oil containers lack labels, cheese on the table, need more sanitizing, debris under shelves.
  • Boardroom Restaurant & Bottle Shop, 101 Bridge St.: 5 violations: milk in coolers expired, utensils in water not hot enough; raw wooden shelves, debris on ice machines, mop stored in the sink.
  • Two Brothers Meat Market, 512 Kimberton Road: one violation: the food prep sink does not have an adequate air gap of one inch.
  • Failla’s Pizzeria, 2699 Charlestown Road: one violation, the food facility does not maintain a certified food manager.
  • Rebel Hill Brewing Company, 242 Bridge St.: two violations, containers not all labeled, small cups used as scoops.
  • Aramark@Phoenixville Middle School: three violations: coat stored on food shelf, containers of coffee stirrers exposed, hot and cold water not accessible at a hand sink.
