Houlahan Hosts Town Hall Jan. 16 In Phoenixville

The 2024 "State of the Sixth" town hall will focus on issues that directly impact residents of Chester and Berks counties.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA – U.S. Rep Chrissy Houlahan, a Chester County Democrat, is hosting a town hall on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville.

Houlahan will provide residents in the Sixth District with an update on “State of the Sixth.” Phoenixville Mayor Peter Urscheler will serve as the moderator.

“It’s an evening to recap the past year and look ahead to 2024," said Houlahan, who represents all of Chester County and portions of Berks County.

“While it has been difficult to effectively legislate due to the House majority’s ongoing dysfunction and infighting, I am still proud of the work we have done on a bipartisan basis to improve the lives of Pennsylvanians.”

Houlahan said that she has supported paid leave for veterans, increased rail access, and fought for jobs in healthcare and more.

“I look forward to sharing updates on the issues I hear about most often and answering our community's questions," Houlahan said. "Our office continues to advocate directly for constituents and recently hit a historic milestone of $50 million returned to Berks and Chester County residents since I joined Congress.

Doors open at 5:30 and the event begins at 6 p.m. at the Colonial, 227 Bridge St., Phoenixville.
