Man Faces Drug Charges After Vehicle Stop

A Phoenixville man faces drug charges following a vehicle stop on Schuylkill Road, East Pikeland Township Police said.

Police stopped a car around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, on the 300 block of Schuylkill Road. During the course of their investigation, police said they discovered that a passenger in the vehicle, Nicholas Mara, was in possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia.

Mara, 18, of Spring Mill Lane in Phoenixville, was processed and released pending a hearing at a later date, police said.
