Painting Theft Investigated By West Whiteland Police

Police are searching for a painting shipped by a woman in California to Downingtown for an auction and never arrived at its destination.

WEST WHITELAND, PA —The West Whiteland Township police department is investigating the theft of a painting that was picked up by a thief on Jan. 27 at the FedEx Ground, 422 Creamery Way, Exton.

Police said the painting was shipped by a woman from Beverly Hills to an auction business in Downingtown.

The painting has not yet been recovered.
