PASD Cancels Tuesday After-School Activities

Phoenixville Area School District has canceled all after-school activities for Tuesday, March 3, the district announced.

Magic Memories and Phoenixville YMCA after-school care will operate as scheduled, the district said, and School Board committee meetings scheduled for Tuesday night will start at their regularly scheduled times.

Snow, sleet and freezing rain are expected to cause travel problems Tuesday afternoon and night, according to the National Weather Service.

Precipitation will start out as snow and sleet in the late afternoon but will change over to freezing rain Tuesday evening. Rain is predicted overnight.
