Phantoms Get First Taste of Game Action in Scrimmage
The coach says everyone will be taking a close look at the game film after the first outing.
The Phoenixvville High School Phantoms football team got heir first taste of interscholastic action for the 2013-2014 season Saturday morning at Henderson High School in West Chester.
While they don't really keep score (the scoreboard was 't even used in the game) the Phantoms didn't get the ball across the goal line. Henderson had one touchdown.
Coaches are on the field during the action getting a truly up-close look at the action and coaching their players through virtually every huddle, call and play.
The first official game of the Phantoms season is set for August 31 against Great Valley.
