Phoenixville Hospital Provides Mobile Vaccine Clinics For 5,000
The mobile vaccine clinic is highlighted in Tower Health's 2022 Community Health Assessment.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Tower Health completed a health care assessment at Phoenixville Hospital, which is required every three years to ensure that hospital remains tax exempt under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Regulations.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tower Health launched Caring for Our Community - “In This Together,” providing mobile vaccine clinics.
To date, the hospital provided 5,000 vaccines to people of all ages who may have difficulty accessing care.

The assessment concluded that the mobile vaccine clinic improves access to care and fosters health equity to reach vulnerable and diverse populations.
Phoenixville Hospital also partnered with Chester County Health Department to provide COVID-19 vaccines at a local community vaccination clinic.

The hospital staff provided vaccines to seniors, at-risk populations, schools, and other groups.

Phoenixville Hospital is a 144-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical service through inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach program.
