Phoenixville Native Dies in Maryland at 80

Kathryn "Kitty" (Etzel) Irwin, 80, wife of Robert McKee Irwin, of Havre De Grace, MD, died on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Senator Bob Hooper House, MD.  Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Etzel) Etzel.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Robert Irwin, and daughters, Jane Odom and Patricia Irwin, 1 Grandchild, 2 Step-Grandchildren and her sister, Sister Thomasine, IHM.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Etzel, and sisters, Rosemary Meeks, Theresa Kelly and Miriam Etzel.

RRelatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

A viewing will be held in the chapel on Monday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
