Phoenixville Police Make Drug Arrest at Pennsylvania House
A robbery investigation led to a heroin arrest at the W High Street building.

A robbery investigation led to a drug arrest at the Pennsylvania House Hotel late last month, Phoenixville Police are reporting.
Albert Hine, 47, was charged with narcotics possession with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct stemming from the December 23 incident.
According to court documents, a Phoenixville Police officer went to the Pennsylvania House on December 23 to investigate a robbery that had occurred on the unit block of Spring Lane. The officer, he wrote in the affidavit, had reason to believe that one of the suspects in the robbery resided in the building.

While on site, the officer encountered Hine, who smelled like marijuana. Hine admitted to having a glass pipe in his pocket, but when the officer searched him he found more than that: in addition to the pipe, he was carrying 18 packets of heroin, a large bag of marijuana, and 37 and a half Clonazepam pills.
Hine was arrested, arraigned, and released from Chester County Prison. He faces preliminary hearing on January 31.
