Phoenxiville's Gardening Around The Village Series Now In-Person
Phoenixville's Gardening Around the Village had a successful in-person come back and the next session is online Thursday.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Gardening know-how is only one reason to join sessions of Gardening Around the Village. Some classes are now in person and the series offers unexpected information about plants and their uses.
A handy online class Thursday will demonstrate how to plant seeds for growing fall vegetables.
Martha Napolitan Cownap, head herbalist at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, shared stories and information on Monday about the “weed” Burdock, as part of the “Wild Plant Walk” in Phoenixville Public Library’s Adult Series. Burdock is the plant that inspired the invention of Velcro. Burdock root is helpful for a number of symptoms, Napolitan Cownap told attendees.
