Police: Man Sold Undercover Cop Cocaine in Phoenixville

The sting was a joint operation of the Phoenixville Police Department's Narcotics Bureau and the Chester County Municipal Drug Force

A Phoenixville man who sold an undercover cop cocaine as part of a drug sting was arrested in the borough earlier this month, police are reporting.

According to court documents, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Garrison John Flagg Jr., 19, on November 26. Police allege that, in a joint operation of the Phoenixville Police Department’s Narcotics Bureau and the Chester County Municipal Drug Force, Flagg twice met with an undercover officer in the borough in September and on both occasions sold the cop what lab testing later confirmed was cocaine.

On January 3 at 12:16 a.m., police served the warrant and arrested Flagg on the third floor of a home on the 200 block of Walnut Street.

At the time of his arrest, Flagg had in his possession marijuana and four Methadone pills.

Flagg was charged with two felony counts of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver and five misdemeanor drug charges stemming from the September incident and five misdemeanor drug charges stemming from his arrest.

He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for February 7.
