Republican Candidate Ron Vogel Suspends Congressional Campaign
Vogel suspends his campaign in the wake of reports of Vogel posting racists, sexist and antisemetic comments on social media.

WEST CHESTER —Chester County Realtor Ron Vogel suspended his campaign for the Republican nomination for the 6th Congressional District, which covers, which covers all of Chester County and southeastern Berks County, according to a post on his campaign Facebook page.
The suspension follows reports that surfaced regarding videos and text messages with content provided by Vogel that appears racists, antisemitic and sexist, according to a report by the Daily Local posted on the Facebook page.
Vogel, 36, of Chester Springs was one of four candidates seeking the Republican nomination for 6th Congressional District, which covers all of Chester County and southeastern Berks County.

Vogel was unavailable for comment.
The other candidates competing for the nomination are Regina Mauro, 57, Devon; Steve Fanelli, 60,West Chester; and Guy Ciarrocchi, 57, Tredyffrin Township.

Democrat Chrissy Houlahan, who was elected in 2018, and took office in 2019 is running unopposed as a Democrat.
Vogel was endorsed by both the Chester County and Berks County Republican committees.
Vogel said in a Patch.com story if elected he will bring his work ethic and respect for people on both sides of the aisle to Washington, D.C., to help Americans win.
