Route 422 At Valley Forge Reopened At 8:35 AM
The state highway was closed over 20 hours will PECO repaired downed wire at the Bridgeport /Valley Forge exit.
VALLEY FORGE, PA —Route 422 opened at 8:35 this morning just in time for the early morning commute, PennDOT officials said.
The state highway closed in both directions at noon today between the Bridgeport/Valley Forge exit and Audubon/Trooper exit after a PECO wire went down just before noon Sunday.
PECO replaced the pole and installed new wires, PennDOT officials said.

More than 100,000 vehicles travel on Route 422 daily, according to PennDOT.
