Scam Prevention Town Hall: State Rep. Shusterman, Chesco Democrat

Residents are invited to a virtual town hall at 6 p.m. to learn how to avoid financial scams.

HARRISBURG, Feb. 21 – State Rep. Melissa Shusterman, a Chester County Democrat, invites the public to a virtual scam-prevention town hall at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23.

Residents can register for the town hall on Shusterman’s website here.

Shusterman will be joined by senior advocates and local police to provide information on how to detect and avoid financial scams.

These experts will explain how to prevent becoming a victim of scammers, what to do if you or a loved one is targeted by scammers, and what resources are available.
