School Spirit Beats Series Score

The score doesn't count as much as school spirit and Phantom Pride as the first Route 29 Series between Phoenixville Area High and Great Valley High School wrapped two days of varsity match ups.
The series ended in a 9-1 tally as the Phantom field hockey team defeated the GV Patriots Saturday.
Despite the disappointments on the playing fields the Phantom cheerleaders and football team ended with a tradition that reminds students and the school community that there are things more important than one day's scores.
Next year the Route 29 Series moves to Phoenixville.
