"The truck hit the bridge so hard that the trailer’s jack stands are on the pavement," the Schuylkill Township Police Department said. "Letting the air out of the tires will not be an option."

The vehicle was loaded with shredded paper it was carrying.

Police, Valley Forge Fire Company, and Abel Brothers Towing were on the scene throughout the day attempting to remove the truck.

The road in the area near the bridge was closed following the accident.

No injuries were reported.

The bridge was most recently hit by a truck with a high clearance back on Oct. 9.
