Tuesday Job Fair Features Positions Working with Seniors

One of Chester County's larger senior services companies is holding a job fair Tuesday for people interested in working with senior citizens.

The Surrey Services job fair will be held at the company's headquarters in Berwyn.

According to Surrey's posting on the Patch events calendar:
Surrey Services Home Care, a most trusted name in non-medical home care is growing and looking for people to help us expand. We are currently seeking compassionate, trustworthy and reliable people for the following positions:

*Hourly and live-in certified nurse assistants, home health aides and companions
*Cleaners with residential and/or healthcare experience
*LPN/RN

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

*Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working with the older population.
*Must have current PA driver's license, a reliable car, and current auto insurance (no public transportation is available).
*Must have a current health certificate and negative TB results. A two-step TB test or a chest x-ray is required.
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
*Must be able to provide verifiable references.
