The area that’s suppose to get the most is the Jersey Shore, though the National Weather Service did not report how many inches of snow will accumulate.

The Weather Channel believes the chance of snow is bigger than ”slight.”

The channel reported, on its weather.com site, that there is a 60 percent chance of snow hitting the region on Saturday.

The Weather Channel also reported that the snow will come in the afternoon - not the morning.

The combination of clouds, cold air, gusty winds and even some snowflakes flying in the Northeast will result in temperatures being 10-20 degrees lower than usual, according to an AccuWeather release.

Enough snow could fall to coat the ground from parts of the Northeast spanning Friday into Saturday as the cold air settles in, according to AccuWeather.
