Patch: What attracted you to the healthcare field, and how did you get started?

Moorhouse: I have always enjoyed being a part of a team that truly makes a difference in people’s lives and strives to make sure each patient is happy and healthy.

Patch: What kind of medicine/services does your organization specialize in?

Moorhouse: Tri-County Urgent Care and Tri-County Health and Wellness offers urgent care, primary care, addiction medicine, and medical spa services.

Patch: How do you and your organization/practice stay up-to-date with healthcare advancements?

Moorhouse: In addition to continuing medical education courses, Tri-County Urgent Care and Tri-County Health and Wellness have cultivated an environment that encourages further education of all staff. We are also very involved in our community and are consistently researching many topics in the healthcare realm so we can stay up to date with the ever-changing healthcare field.

Patch: What parts of your job do you find most challenging?

Moorhouse: The most challenging part of my job is staying up to date with insurance coverage and plans. With so many variations in the plans, it can be difficult to assist patients when they have questions about their specific healthcare coverage.

Patch: What’s your favorite thing about being a healthcare professional?

Moorhouse: My favorite thing about working in the healthcare field is assisting in creating an environment where patients can feel happy and confident that their specific healthcare needs are being taken care of.

Patch: What does a typical day on the job look like for you?

Moorhouse: Since Tri-County Urgent Care is open every day of the week, we are able to see a wider array of patients needing medical treatment. Every day is different from the day before.

We regularly take care of patients coming in for COVID-19 testing, minor fractures, work-related physicals, animal bites, allergic reactions, viruses and many more. Our trained medical staff is able to provide our urgent care patients on-site treatment or treatment options for minor illnesses and injuries. Tri-County Health and Wellness offers primary care services ensuring our patients have access to preventative medicine and regular checkups as well as addiction medicine, which offers our patients in-office medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependency.

A typical day at Pure Bliss Medical Spa consists of clients coming in for laser treatments, fillers, botox, microneedling, facials and many more services.

One of the many exciting things about Tri-County Urgent Care and Tri-County Health and Wellness is that we offer several different types of services so every day we see new things and discover more ways to treat and assist our community with their health and wellness needs.

Patch: Do you have any upcoming events in your organization/community?

Moorhouse: We are excited to announce that Pure Bliss Medical Spa will now be offering Botox/Injectable parties on Saturdays. A fun day at the medical spa with a group of your friends and family will include drinks and snacks. Pure Bliss Medical Spa, Tri-County Urgent Care, and Tri-County Health and Wellness are always looking for new ways to connect with our community and create bonds with other establishments around the Phoenixville area to give back to our neighbors.
