For the second year in a row, Bakerstown Alliance Church in Gibsonia is hosting a
free event for the whole community. Stop by the church grounds between 1 and 4 p.m. to enjoy a free pig roast barbecue-style meal complete with fixins’.

An outdoor concert with gospel music pioneer Randy Stonehill begins at 3 p.m. at the church grounds pavilion. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and get comfortable while you enjoy a truly unique musical experience. With more than 50 years of Contemporary Christian music in his repertoire, this singer-songwriter has been compared to the folk-rock stylings of James Taylor. You might even get a glimpse of Randy’s faithful rock and roll tour mascot, Nigel (and you don’t want to miss that!).

In addition to the concert with Randy Stonehill, guests also can enjoy the following at the free community event:

“Bakerstown Alliance Church is a vibrant community of faith,” said Pastor Scheid. “It is our mission and vision to live and love like Jesus and to continue to find new ways to serve our community. This event is one of many community outreach efforts we hope to undertake this year."
