More than 370 Pine-Richland High School seniors will become graduates on Friday, June 14.
The PRHS Class of 2013 hosts commencement exercises at 7 p.m. at the PRHS Stadium, located at 704 Warrendale Road in Gibsonia.

This year’s class boasts 19 National Merit and National Achievement scholars.
“Finalists” in the 2013 National Merit & Achievement Scholarship programs include Natalie Blandino, Hannah Christenson, Marcus Colella, Marissa Di, Kasey Elkin, Nicholas Jones and Alianna Sanzi. They are among only 15,000 a students nationwide earning this recognition.

In addition, those seniors, as well as senior Amulya Yennam were named “semifinalists” earlier in the year.
Seniors honored with “Commended” status include James Burgess, Catherine Chleboski, Angad Guglana, Sneha Iyer, Kevin Klingensmith, Olivia Marchionda, Jared Ohlund, Maria O’Keeffe, Christine Ostrosky and Bayne Royall.
Students competed against 1.3 million students by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
The Weather Factor
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors in the PRHS Auditorium. Graduates will be notified by rapid call if that is the case.
If held indoors, each graduation participant will be allowed two guests, who must present tickets. Each graduation participant was given two guest tickets.
If a student has additional guests, they will be able to watch the ceremony via live television from multiple locations in the high school or through their cable provider in the comfort of their home in the Pine-Richland School District.
