140th Anniversary Celebration for First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown

Friday Evening, May 20 at 7:00 - “Bakerstown: A Historic Celebration” • Greeters in period costumes • Creative and entertaining program • Old fashioned ice cream social will follow in Fellowship Hall.

Saturday Afternoon, May 21 - Outdoor Festival from 4:00 – 6:00 and Picnic Supper in Fellowship Hall any time between 4:00 – 6:30. • Games, snow cones and popcorn • Picnic Supper – Arby’s roast beef sandwiches, homemade salads and a special

children’s menu

Eat before or after the games or plan to come just for the picnic. Children attending the picnic supper will receive a special commemorative gift.

Attention Parents: Friday and Saturday evening child care will be provided for infants and for children through kindergarten from 6:45 until after the program or concert.

Sunday Morning, May 22 – Combined Worship Service at 10:00 • Dick Morledge and David McDonald will attend • Birthday cake in Fellowship Hall following worship

Each household will receive a special gift to honor the church’s anniversary.

Former pastors including Dick Morledge, David McDonald, Jack Willard, Ted Martin, and Beverly James are planning to attend various weekend events.

Throughout the celebration special historic items and photographs will be displayed in Fellowship Hall and the Café.
