Hiring a Church Musician
Salem Church is searching for an individual who can develop and lead the music ministry for our church.
The Church Musician will develop and lead the music ministry for our church, in consultation with the senior pastor and other music ministry participants, in a way that provides leadership, ideas, and enthusiasm that seeks to glorify God and heightens the worship experience and spiritual awareness of the congregation.
Skills: Core requirements include proficiency in playing a high-quality pipe organ and baby grand piano; competency in accompanying a four-part vocal choir on piano; background and experience in playing sacred music and for congregational hymn singing.
