I-279 Parkway North Crack Sealing Begins Wednesday Night

Traveling to Pittsburgh from the Pine-Richland area using I-279? Or vice versa?

Crack and joint sealing operations on I-279 (Parkway North) in Allegheny County begin tonight (Wednesday), weather permitting, PennDOT District 11 announced.

Work will occur between the I-79 and Perrysville/West View (Exit 7) interchanges. Short-term lane closures will occur in various locations from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday-Friday nights through Sept. 7. 

Matcon Diamond Inc. of Pittsburgh will perform the work.
