PR Hockey to 'Play 4 The Cure' Against North Allegheny

Proceeds from the game benefits breast cancer research and awareness.

Pine-Richland Field Hockey is hosting North Allegheny at its fourth annual Play 4 the Cure game Wednesday.

All proceeds raised from game admissions, bake sale, T-shirts and goal pledges will benefit the Susan B. Komen Fund for breast cancer research and awareness. 

The J.V. team plays at 6 p.m. and varsity is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

This is a big event for PRFH from the high school level down to the youth players, who will participate in the pre-game.

PRFH Varsity is 4-0 in section play. A win on Wednesday means the team will maintain the top spot in the WPIAL standings.
