Man Injured In Stabbing In Pittsburgh's East Hills Neighborhood
Authorities said the stabbing happened around 10:30 p.m. on Monday.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was injured Monday when police said he was stabbed during an assault on another person in Pittsburgh's East Hills neighborhood.
According to police, officers responded to the 2200 block of Wilner Drive around 10:30 p.m. after receiving calls about a stabbing. When police arrived, they found a man who had suffered stab wounds to his chest, back and head.
Investigators later learned the man had arrived at that location and began physically assaulting a woman outside. Police said a second man intervened and, to stop the assault, stabbed the woman's attacker.

The second man remained on scene and was cooperative with officers, police said.
Pittsburgh EMS took the injured man to the hospital in stable condition, and he is expected to face charges in connection with the incident.
