2 Dead, 7 Hurt After Shooting At Bar In Penn Hills: Police

"Preliminary information indicates an altercation took place inside the bar and multiple individuals opened fire," police said.

PENN HILLS, PA — Two people were dead and at least seven were injured after an early morning shooting at a bar in Penn Hills, according to police.

Authorities received a 911 report at 2:53 a.m. Sunday about a shooting in the 3500 block of Laketon Road and found a man and woman dead inside Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar, police said. Law enforcement came to learn of seven other victims during the investigation, according to police.

"Preliminary information indicates an altercation took place inside the bar and multiple individuals opened fire," Allegheny County police said in a Facebook post.

One victim was in critical condition and the other surviving victims had injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.
