This week's local business spotlight is the Oaks Theater, located on Allegheny River Boulevard in Oakmont.
Since it opened in 1938, the Oaks Theater has been a staple of the community's business district.
The theater shows a unique mix of new releases, foreign films and cult classics, and hosts a number of events that cater to community members. The theater was voted Best Place to Go for Family Entertainment in the Patch 2012 Readers Choice contest.
