For Mom: Five Places Serving Mother's Day Specials in the Plum-Oakmont Area

Many folks celebrate the tradition of Mother's Day by treating mom to a meal.

Treat your mom to a delicious meal this Mother’s Day. Patch found five places that are planning a special brunch on Sunday, May 12. 

John Anthony's Restaurant & Lounge

John Anthony's at 115 Center-New Texas Road in Plum has seatings for its Mother's Day brunch at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and at 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. for dinner.  Call 412-795-8666 soon because reservations are filling up.

Palmieri Restaurant

The Palmieri Restaurant, 951 Old Frankstown Road in Plum is welcoming guests to a Special Grand Prime Rib Buffet with seatings at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. 6 p.m. and beyond. Limited menu is also available. Adults are $22.50 and children ages are $12.99. Call 724-387-2444 for reservations.

Luccia Shea's

Luccia Shea's, 4733 William Penn Highway, will be open at 1 p.m. for Mother's Day. The restaurant will be serving appetizers and dinner entrees from the dinner menu. Large salads or sandwiches will not be served. Call 412-372-5859 for more information.

Hoffstot's Cafe Monaco

If brunch isn't your thing, celebrate your mom will a full dinner at Hoffstot's Cafe Monaco, 533 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Dinner is from noon to 7 p.m. Reservations are suggested at 412-828-8555.

Chelsea Grille Inc.

Chelsea Grille Inc., 515 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, is also having dinner from noon to 7 p.m. to celebrate Mother's Day. Call 412-828-0570 to make reservations.
