Plum Borough Manager Among The 5 Killed In House Explosion: Report
Plum manager Michael Thomas was among the victims in the massive blast that killed five people, according to a report.
PLUM, PA — Borough manager Michael Thomas was among the five people killed in the massive house explosion on Rustic Ridge Drive on Saturday, WPXI-TV reported.
Allegheny County property records indicate that Thomas lived two doors down from the home that blew up. His home, which he owned with his wife, Jacqueline, was destroyed in the blast, as was a third house.
Thomas has been the borough manager since 2005.

The station also reported that another borough employee died in the explosion.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has not officially identified any of the victims in the fatal blast.

Casey Clontz, 38, and Keegan Clontz, 12, reportedly also are among the victims.
"I don’t have words.," Casey Clontz's sister, Ashley, posted on social media. "This is a nightmare that I just want to wake up from. The outpouring of love and support from everyone is overwhelming and we appreciate everyone more than you will ever know. "
