Plum Hit-And-Run Death Suspect Arrested
A man has been charged with killing a motorcyclist in Plum in June.
PLUM, PA — An Export man has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run death of a motorcyclist in Plum in June.
At approximately 3:50 p.m. on June 11, 2023, Allegheny County 911 was notified of a hit and run collision in the 100 block of Unity Trestle Road. First responders found the victim, James Baker, 66, in critical condition.
He was taken to a hospital where he died.>

County detectives investigating the incident learned that Towner Henretty, 30, was the owner of the vehicle that struck Baker. Based on witness statements and cell phone data, >investigators were later able to determine Henretty was operating the vehicle that struck Baker and fled the scene following the crash.
Henretty was charged with accidents involving death or personal injury, along with multiple traffic violations.
