Portion Of Plum Road Closed For Next Two Months
A section of a Plum Borough road is closed for a major construction project.
PLUM, PA — The eastbound lane of Ross Hollow Road is closed near its intersection with Stotler Road for a bridge replacement project. The closure, which will last until October, will require temporary stop lights to control traffic.
Allegheny County's public works department originally planned to fully close Ross Hollow between Harris Road and Rustic Ridge Drive from August 27-30 and again for four days
near the end of the project. The change in plans is intended to prevent full closures and better
protect work crews.
As part of the project, Stotler was closed between Ross Hollow and Old Leechburg Road on Monday and is expected to remain closed until November. Traffic is being detoured using Old Leechburg Road and Ross Hollow.
