Thefts, Criminal Mischief Keep Plum Police Busy

Theft

  • A Memorial Drive resident reported that someone keyed their car and stole an iPod on July 28.
  • Ten propane gas tanks were stolen on Commerce Drive on July 29.
  • Lawn equipment was reported stolen from a locked trailer on Davidson Road on July 29.
  • A borough resident reported that someone committed identity theft and falsely applied for a college loan under their name on June 6.
Criminal Mischief
  • Windows on a bulldozer and backhoe on Pennant Drive were smashed some time between July 27 and Aug. 3.
Drug Charges
  • Barry James Thompson, 27, of Wilkins, was charged with two counts of prohibited acts after an Aug. 7 traffic stop on Regency Drive.
DUI
  • Alfred John Finzel Jr., 27, of Monroeville, was charged with careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a June 27 traffic stop on Unity Center Road.
Assault
  • Tyffany Nicole Bailey, 25, of Plum, was charged with resisting arrest and two counts of aggravated assault after a July 16 incident at Kellywood Manor.
